Fitter/Welder

Position: Fitter/Welder

Location: Rosedale, North Shore

What we are looking for:

• All-round fitter/welder with more than 5 years’ experience in general/earthmoving.
• Ability to understand and read engineering drawings.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Reliable and able to work unsupervised.
• Attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, drive and ambition; able to be clearly understood; motivated, willing to learn and grow with the company.

What you'll be doing:

Reporting to the Lineboring Coordinator your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Stick, MIG and TIG (optional) Welding on a range of materials including aluminium, stainless steel, cast iron, mild and high tensile steel.
• Medium Industrial fitting and fabrication.
• Maintenance, service and repairs on: Earthmoving machinery, fixed plant.
